Terms of Service

Effective 2026-05-31. Operated by Phase3AI.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clinical Trial Signal ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Is

Clinical Trial Signal is a public-data research intelligence product. It aggregates, normalizes, and presents information derived from public sources including ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA, openFDA, FAERS, DailyMed, PubMed, SEC EDGAR, and other public registries and disclosures.

3. What the Service Is NOT

The Service is not:

Signals are intended for research screening only.

4. Data Source Caveats

The Service relies on third-party public data sources we do not operate or control. Source data may be incomplete, delayed, revised, withdrawn, or inaccurate. Adverse-event reports (FAERS, VAERS, similar) are spontaneous and voluntary; they may be duplicated, unverified, or biased by reporting patterns, and they cannot establish causation or incidence.

5. Accounts and Access

Free tier access does not require an account. Paid tier access (Pro, Analyst Desk, Enterprise) is provided via an access token issued after subscription. You are responsible for keeping your access token confidential.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid tiers are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time paid subscribers. Refund requests after the 7-day window are evaluated case by case. We do not provide partial-month refunds outside the guarantee window.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not: (a) scrape or extract data from the Service in bulk or automated fashion beyond your subscription tier; (b) resell or redistribute Service output as your own primary product; (c) misrepresent Service output as medical, regulatory, or legal advice; (d) attempt to circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or access controls.

8. Intellectual Property

Source data remains the property of its respective publishers (NIH, FDA, NLM, SEC, sponsors, journals). Our normalization, scoring, briefs, and Service UI are © 2026 Phase3AI. Paid subscribers may share individual signal cards and exported briefs internally; redistribution outside the subscriber's organization requires written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phase3AI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to research, business, or investment decisions made in reliance on Service output. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; the effective date will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in Virginia.
